So the sickness at our house has seemed never ending. Just when the kids started to get over their colds they all got really sick again. When they continued in a downward spiral I began to get really worried. My little Saydie has always gotten a whole lot sicker than the rest and this time was no different. On Friday her fever spiked to 105 degrees in an hour period. I immediately picked her up to take her to the kitchen to give her Motrin. At that time she began to sieze and it lasted for about 30 seconds. The way that she looked and everything about it completely did me in. I have never felt that kind of scared. It was an awful experience. It was only the first time that I had ever seen a siezure from fever and I never want to see it again. When her muscles finally let go she began to puke insessantly.VERYSCARY!!!Well it turns out that they all had strep so we immediately got them on an antibiotic and now three days later I can finally see that we are coming out of it.HOORAY!!!So needless to say Maddie didn't get as sick as the rest of them but she did GET SICKand she was not a happy camper. She blames it entirely on Saydie because Saydie drank out of her cup and "giveded her germs". Does it look like our sweet little Saydie could be so malicious? LOL!!!FUN-FUN-FUNat the Thomas house let me tell you about it. So I guess the moral of this story is if you have four kids sharing germs then they are going to get sick.EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE OF THEM!!!
Holy Crap Amber. What is in your water over there? I hope everyone is doing better. When we left you over 3 weeks ago I was worried about you. Its good to see you in the blogging world so I can keep up with you. I hope that you will have a better week.
Wow, we've had 105 fevers at my house but no seizures yet. You always have the best of luck, don't you? I am happy they are coming out of it. I hope you all can stay healthy for a while. Maybe if our kids are ever healthy at the same time we could hang out again. ;0) Meanwhile I guess I'll just have to watch the Smallville dvd's to entertain myself.
So glad everyone is better and that you survived (literally). Saw your parents and sis at the stake Valentine Dinner last week. You guys are so beautiful. Somethings never change. :)
Our family began February 19, 2000 in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple. Erick and I have been married for almost nine years. We've had our ups and downs our joys and sorrows and I am grateful that Erick is who I have shared this journey with.
Brayden Scott
Brayden came into our lives on December 06, 2000. He had a thick head of black hair and the most beautiful, big, brown eyes that I had ever seen. He has been a delightful boy to raise and I am so happy to be his mother. On December 27th of 2008 he was baptized and as a mother it was an incredible feelilng to see my sweet little boy baptized into the Lords church. I pray that he will always follow the Lord throughout his life the way that he has this far.
Haylie Brooke
Haylie was born on June 7th of 2002 just 18 months after Brayden. She was so good and so sweet from the day she was born. She had huge, brown puppy dog eyes just like her daddy and the loudest voice ever. Brayden was so excited to have a little sister and I was excited for him to have a playmate other than me. She is now 6 and a half going on 16 and she is a huge help. She loves school and loves people. We love having her drama in our house although at times it is hard to take.
Maddie
Maddie was born on October 23 of 2003 only 16 months after Haylie was born. At 3 months old she got RSV and it was really scary. Other than that she has always been extremely funny and happy with a witty personality that keeps our home exciting. In October of 2008 she turned five and she is very proud to be so big. She is very smart and excited to get to start school. I'm not sure what little Saydie and I are going to do without her next year.
Saydie Ryann
Saydie is our little miracle baby. She was born six weeks early on June 29th of 2005 after weeks of complications in my pregnancy and finally another car wreck to top it off. She did really well only being in the NICU for 10 days. The day we finally brought her home was the happiest day of our lives. She is different than the rest of the bunch with blonde hair and light brown eyes and we love her so much. In June she will be 4 years old. I can't believe my baby is so big. How old does that make me?
