So my Brayden is pretty determined that he doesn't need to have his pics taken so I sneaked this one when he was focused on Baseball! Not great lighting but still a fun pic! He is So Much FUN to watch play baseball and has definately been blessed with a gift for it! There is not much that I enjoy as much as I enjoy watching my kids excel at things that they love and seeing them improve as they work so hard at them and commit themselves to whatever it may be! Brayden is becoming an awesome pitcher as well as second in the line up for batting! He starts club ball in August(our hottest month of the year) and I am super excited as Erick will be coaching him. I love the time this gives them to spend together! Anyways I will work at getting more pics of him but for now they are few and far between! I am going to have to bargain with him so I can get more:-) My girls however are little divas and LOVE to have their pics taken! They have been a lot of fun to learn on! The pictures of Saydie in the bright pink dress are the pics I took of her on her birthday last week and the others were just for fun one day! I also had to put in the pics of our new puppy "little boy"! He is a pure bread Schnauzer that we got from the Arizona Rescue Mission! He is nine weeks old and we LOVE him!

These are just some pics that I have taken and thought were fun! They are pretty random so I decided to just start putting them all together and putting them on my blog anyways! The one of the cheesecake and the one of the kabobs were on my birthday! (no you don't need to know or even try to guess how old I am) I passed exciting birthdays when I turned 29) LOL!!! I LOVE pretty food and I LOVE making it even more! All of the others are just random shots that I have taken while learning about my camera! Hopefully they are as neat to you as they are to me!

She is always the comedian! LOL! She would have had them all look this way if she had it her way! I think it's fun! Shows her personality perfectly!

Can't help but smile when I I look at this one! Those eyes are definately my weakness! I blame her dad for that for sure!!

SUPER DANGEROUS/ SUPER CUTE

My Mother-in-Law is super great! She is always sending me fun things that she sows! She makes all kinds of stuff for me and my kiddos from baby doll clothes, night gowns for my girls and cute purses to church bags, washcloths and pot pinchers (as pictured below) for me! When I got these particular pot pinchers I showed them to my girls and we all oohed and awed at how stinkin' cute they are! I then put them in the hot pad drawer and left them there unless I was using them! Saydie must have been as inspired by them as I was because she came running into my room one day when I was having a particularly bad day and a friend had stopped by and surprised me with a 9x13 pan of lasagna that just needed to be cooked. She had one on each hand and was saying "mom I got the food out of the oven for you and I didn't even get burned"! It scared me SO BAD that I couldn't even see how cute it was and went straight into a scared mom lecture on the dangers of the oven and remembering the rules she has been taught! All I could think of was how very lucky we were that she didn't drop it or spill it or fall in the oven and get burned badly! I am telling you that pan was too heavy for such a small little 5 year old! She could easily have toppled into the oven! Then my heart fell as I realized that she was crushed and hurt. She had just conquered a VERY BIG and VERY HEAVY task without even being asked and now she was in trouble!:-) It made absolutely no sense to her that I would be upset when she had been so helpful! As her big tears began to fall and she still had a cute pot pincher on each hand my heart broke too. SHE WAS SO CUTE and SO INNOCENT! Love her SO MUCH! SO DANGEROUS? or SO CUTE? You decide but in the end I think you will agree it was both!!!!

Sad, Sad, Sad Haylie!

I don't know about the rest of you but for our family, we have been nothing but sick, sick, sick, this whole winter and we are all a bit GRUMPY and "sick" of it! This picture is SO SAD and I understand it completely! My kids are "sick" and tired of being home with me ALL DAY and trust me when I say the feeling is MUTUAL! Maddie has missed the most days of school this year at a whopping 31 days! Haylie is next in line at 26 days and Saydie and Brayden are right there close to that! So it's understandable that Haylie had had ENOUGH on this particular morning! She just wanted to got to school So Bad! She really tried to convince me that she was ready even though she had been up until 3:00A.M. the night before with a high fever, and coughing So Hard that she puked! She was quite determined to go to school and it was pretty impressive how persuasive she could be with those huge brown puppy dog eyes and great big tears! She wasn't very impressed at all when I pulled out the camera and started taking pictures of her in her moment of sorrow!LOL! I thought it was hilarious though :-) She should be an attorney when she grows up because she can get just about anything with those eyes of hers! I did win the battle in the end! She may have cute eyes and tactics but I have had to learn fast not to melt seeing as how Erick gave the puppy dog eyes to all four of them to use to get there way! LOL Don't tell her you saw this picture or I will get into a whole lot of trouble! She would not be impressed if she knew it was on here but I couldn't resist! She is so blasted cute!

Maddie's her own person and I LOVE IT!

Today was Maddie's turn to be my model! She has been super sick and I wanted to wait till she was better but she wasn't hearing of it! I had just given her a new haircut and she was super excited for pictures to show it! I was SO TIRED and not in the mood for pics but it turned out to be so so easy! You see, it turns out she is a model! She came up with pose after pose like it was simple and I just set the settings and pressed the button! If she had it her way she would have both of her index fingers sticking out with arms spread wide in every picture but I convinced her that maybe she should try something new...LOL! I love this little girl! She has no teeth right now! I mean really she has no teeth right now! She has lost 6 that haven't grown back yet and has had to have 4 pulled at the dentist because she seems to be allergic to root canals! I love her toothless grin! It goes perfect with her nutty personality! She sure keeps us laughing! She also keeps me grumpy with all of her teasing of the other kids but it's hard not to laugh when someone so small is making her 10 year old brother so frustrated not to mention she teases Erick and I to tears most of the time as well!!!! LOL!!!!! Like I said....I love this little girl!

She has to be the smunchiest thing in the world! Is smunchy even a word? My computer says "no" but I use it all the time and if you ask my husband he will tell you "I am ALWAYS right"! LOL

DO YOU LIKE THE TOOTHLESS GRIN AS MUCH AS I DO OR IS IT JUST A MOM THING?LOL

SURPRISE!!!!!!!!I am back ONLINE and having to figure this blogging thing out all over again!Life must be going better because I don't remember it being this simple!I decided that since I NEVER leave my house besides church and the grocery store it was time to blog!!!!So for those of you who removed me from your blog for lack of anything new and changing in my life I am over it!!!LOL....However I really think you should add me back to your lists....(Wouldn't want you to miss out on my NEVER changing life with all of it's excitement)!!!I took some cute pics of Saydie and decided they were a good place to start!She was such a good little model!It was a lot of fun!!!!FYI...She has grown A WHOLE LOT since the last time I did this over two years ago.....

So the sickness at our house has seemed never ending. Just when the kids started to get over their colds they all got really sick again. When they continued in a downward spiral I began to get really worried. My little Saydie has always gotten a whole lot sicker than the rest and this time was no different. On Friday her fever spiked to 105 degrees in an hour period. I immediately picked her up to take her to the kitchen to give her Motrin. At that time she began to sieze and it lasted for about 30 seconds. The way that she looked and everything about it completely did me in. I have never felt that kind of scared. It was an awful experience. It was only the first time that I had ever seen a siezure from fever and I never want to see it again. When her muscles finally let go she began to puke insessantly. VERY SCARY!!! Well it turns out that they all had strep so we immediately got them on an antibiotic and now three days later I can finally see that we are coming out of it. HOORAY!!! So needless to say Maddie didn't get as sick as the rest of them but she did GET SICK and she was not a happy camper. She blames it entirely on Saydie because Saydie drank out of her cup and "giveded her germs". Does it look like our sweet little Saydie could be so malicious? LOL!!! FUN-FUN-FUN at the Thomas house let me tell you about it. So I guess the moral of this story is if you have four kids sharing germs then they are going to get sick. EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE OF THEM!!!

Snots, Coughs and grumpy children

So all of the kids have been sick for about a week and somehow my Maddie has managed to side step this sickness and she is forever making sure that we all know that she IS NOT SICK. Last night I made sure that all of the kids had the good old vicks on there feet with socks (including Maddie) so that they wouldn't cough all night. Maddie was not very impressed since she IS NOT SICK! Each time that we pray we try to begin by talking together as a family about all who may need our prayers. Yesterday was Maddie's day to pray. On a drive last night to pick up all of Ericks equipment to coach Brayden, Maddie had gotten ubuckled and could not buckle again by herself so Haylie offered to help her buckle. Maddie cringed away from her and said "No Haylie, I don't want a sick person to touch me I only want to pray about them". I thought that this picture perfectly showed how she felt so loving and at the same time did not want touched. LOL(She is always full of comments that make us laugh)

Learning to Blog

So today Brianne came over and taught me how to blog. If you know me very well you know that the computer and I have never gotten along very well. Nothing about it seems easy to me. It is definately my Worst Nightmare but I decided that in order to keep up with everyone's lives and keep people updated with ours I'd better learn it and learn it right. Thus the reason for Brianne being my teacher. She like me is a perfectionist and likes to be creative so I owe today's and probably the next years blogging to her since her phone is not going to stop ringing with my number.
